Are you perking yourself up with coffee in the morning and then using alcohol at night to chill you out? This cycle of uppers and downers are designed to artificially stimulate the body and then relax it. But, they come at a cost. Overuse of stimulants like caffeine give temporary “energy”, but deplete the adrenals in the process not to mention completely mask exhaustion.
